MONTHLY SUPPORT GROUP MEETINGS
Our Monthly Support Group Meetings are a key part of fulfilling our mission at The Aneurysm and AVM Foundation (TAAF), offering a warm and familial environment for everyone involved. These meetings, which we consider extensions of our TAAF family, provide vital support, information, and motivation to individuals and families affected by brain aneurysm and other vascular malformations of the brain.
We host three TAAF Support Groups each month to accommodate our diverse community—one in Europe, one on the East Coast of the US, and one on the West Coast of the US. Our support groups are more than just gatherings; they are places where you'll feel like you're among family. We provide both a Brain Buddy and a month-long orientation from our all-volunteer Welcome Team to ensure that every member feels welcomed and supported, just like family would.
At our TAAF Support Groups, attendees have the opportunity to connect with others facing similar challenges, forming strong bonds. This sense of community is crucial in navigating the complexities of these conditions, offering a place where individuals can share experiences, seek advice, and find comfort in knowing they are not alone.
Through these groups, we strive to provide a welcoming and familial environment, offering support, education, and encouragement to all those impacted by these conditions.
