June 2026 – Catch Up on TAAF’s Newsletter
This month, we're celebrating the remarkable animals who have provided comfort, companionship, and purpose throughout the recovery journeys of brain aneurysm, AVM, and stroke survivors while also learning about Disability Pride Month.
In this issue, we featured stories from Gill Bond and Steve Hartler, shared insights from veterinarian Mary Press on the powerful bond between people and their pets, and introduced readers to the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program, helping raise awareness of the disabilities that aren't always visible.
From inspiring survivor stories to the unconditional love of our animal companions (and yes, plenty of pet puns), this issue reflects TAAF's commitment to education, support, advocacy, and community.
